The Mountain Bike race TRANS HIGHLANDS – HIGHER TOWNS OF SPAIN is a Mountain Bike cycle tour in the mountains of Gúdar (Teruel), organized by Geo-Planet and the municipality of Alcalá de la Selva, with the collaboration of the Gúdar Region -Javalambre and the municipalities of Alcalá de la Selva, Linares de Mora, Puertomingalvo, Mosqueruela, Valdelinares, Gúdar and Allepuz and consists of numerous services for the athlete, so that you only worry about pedaling FOR EVERYTHING.

It will be held on July 9 and 10 and consists of 2 stages, with a total distance of 145km. Approximately 4500m. of accumulated slope.
The first stage, 78 km. departing from Valdelinares, at 9.00 am and finish in Linares de Mora from 1.30 pm.
The second stage, 65km. With departure from the municipality of Linares de Mora at 9:00 am and final goal in Valdelinares from 13.30hr.
The minimum age to participate is 15 years old on the same day of the march. Children under 18 will need to bring signed authorization from their parents or guardians.
It is not mandatory that participants are in possession of the federal cycling license but for those who do not have it, they will be required to take out accident and civil liability insurance for both days, provided by the organization and will increase the cost of registration.
.- You can compete individually or by teams (couples or team up to a maximum of 4 participants), counting the time of the first 3 to enter the finish line.

The maximum time to perform the march will be 9 hours. After that time the participant who decides to continue will be under their responsibility The organization will provide for out-of-control participants optional “escape” points to be able to access the end of the stage.
To qualify for trophies and raffles, participants must go through all controls in the maximum time established. The organization establishes the following CATEGORIES
ELITE 3 First classified and 3 first classified from 18 to 29 years

MASTER 30 3 First classified and 3 first classified from 30 to 39 years

MASTER 40 3 First classified and 3 first classified from 40 to 49 years

MASTER 50+ 3 First classified and 3 first classified over 50 years

TEAMS 1st team for small teams and 1st team for small teams

  • The teams may be formed up to a maximum of 4 people of the same or different sex, the times of both stages will be added and the timing of the last component of the team to enter the finish line will be taken into account. The last component may not enter more than 30 ’of the rest of the team.

The organization makes a low density marking marked with arrows, ribbons and vertical signs and tracks are provided to all runners so they can follow the route. The organization will have support and protection vehicles for the participants, as well as motorcycles and opening and signaling cars, broom cars, ambulances and medical services.
Certificate of proof of completion of the test will be given to all participants who finish with all controls and within the maximum time established.

The route WILL NOT BE CLOSED TO THE TRAFFIC, therefore, all participants are required to comply with road safety regulations, being responsible for any infractions they may commit.
